A proud member of the Writers Guild of America since 2012, Jonathan Keasey is a story hunter, screenwriter and producer. Having worked with Warner Bros., Fox, Sony, Columbia, Paramount, A&E and Lifetime, among others, Jonathan has honed his craft for over a decade.
In 2024, Jonathan’s film, Parallel, starring Danielle Deadwyler and Aldis and Edwin Hodge, was hailed by The New York Times among the “five science fiction movies to stream now.”
In 2025, Jonathan’s film, Tow, starring Rose Byrne, Octavia Spencer and Demi Lovato, was selected to headline the Tribeca Film Festival. Yet again, Hollywood’s best critics applauded Jonathan’s ability to “deliver a story of perseverance, heart and real fight (Deadline. Com), “with abundant humor and a narrative that packs some stirring “Erin Brockovich” energy (NYT).
In 2027, Studio Canal is set to release Wings of Freedom, starring Eva Longoria and Nicholas Galatzine, premised on an idea Jonathan hatched with France’s Good Hero Productions.
Currently, Jonathan is honored to be adapting Tobias Wolff’s celebrated National Medal of The Arts novella, The Barracks Thief, for the big screen. In his spare time, Jonathan also lectures at Trinity College, Dublin, and utilizes his law degree to assist NPO Judges for Justice.
